Sales Management

Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides you with full Sales Order Management functionality including comprehensive CRM, advanced pricing (catering for all discount structures), stock allocation management, agreements, EDI, sales order entry matrices and sales order templates all integrated as one.  There is no need to piece together and interface with other systems.

Supply Chain Planning

As with most ERP systems, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides you with full Supply Chain Planning capability.  Whether or not you wish to implement statistical forecasting or advanced Master Production Scheduling the product will provide full functionality to support and enhance your business process.

If traditional MRPII concepts are not enough, Oracle’s Value Chain Planning Solution integrated with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides you with unrivalled capabilities.  A comprehensive Procurement module including things such as Supplier Self Service, Purchase Order Templates and a RFQ process are included.

Supply Chain Execution

Once initial orders have been placed we need to make sure that product is received in good condition and distributed to customers as efficiently as possible. Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides “receipt route tracking” to monitor incoming goods, landed cost management to make sure product can be accurately costed for sale and excellent replenishment planning to establish where product should be sent.  To cater for the case of product shortfalls, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides excellent “allocation” management to ensure optimum use is made of available product.

Financials

Most ERP systems on the market cater for the standard Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger modules.  Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne takes this further providing you with additional functionality including, Multi Company and Multi Business Unit, flexible Chart of Accounts, Expense Management, Budgeting and more

Payroll and HRM

Many ERP system sold in Australia do not come with Australian Payroll or HRM modules.  This often results in expensive integrations, dual entry of data or outsourcing of critical back office functions.

Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides a suite of integrated Payroll and HRM applications designed to overcome the problems mentioned above and help streamline HR operations by reducing time-intensive administrative tasks and lowering costs by deploying self-service applications. Modules and functionality provided include Australia Payroll, Time Sheet Entry, e-Recruitment, Performance Management, Compensation Management and Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service.

Logistics

Although most ERP systems contain good inventory functionality, not all extend this to the extent required by Australian Manufacturing organisations.  Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne goes against this trend extending inventory management to include advanced warehousing, transportation planning and bulk stock inventory.  Full lot and batch control with excellent track and trace capability linked to Quality Management is included.

Reporting and Analytics

Most ERP systems provide report writing capability and integration with Microsoft Office products, as does Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.  However in addition to this JD Edwards EnterpriseOne provides a sophisticated Plant Managers Dashboard and Financial Compliance Console.  These two applications provide graphical displays of key Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics and Financial metrics, out of the box.

If more sophistication is required, Oracle provides a range of pre-formatted Business Intelligence “Applications” which are integrated with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
